Introduction:

Fugitive dust is typically generated during movement of heavy-duty trucks in mines haul road. Conventionally, water is added at various points to suppress dust. Water      gets evaporated quickly and makes the particles airborne again, this leads to higher water consumption.

Mines are using millions of liters of water per annum with continuous water spraying on roads to reduce dust. Reduction in dust generation during operation maintenance is always of high importance for mining operations. D2C have been specially formulated and extensively tested to solve some of the most challenging dust emission problems of the mining and construction industries.

How it works:

This is a proprietary polymeric composition which easily penetrates into dust particles and keeps the surface wet for around 2 to 3 weeks, thereby prevents fine dusts to remain airborne.

Application Method:

Simply spray D2C over the loose dust surface (approximately 100gm/sq ft), within minutes it penetrates into the dust layer and makes the treated surface wet. The treated area will remain wet for around 2-3 weeks depending open the traffic condition.

Subsequently dilute D2C in ratio of 50:50 (D2C: WATER) and add approximately 200gm/sq ft.  Subsequent addition can go to addition of ratio of 50:50 (D2C: WATER) @ 100 gm/sq ft. Frequency of application is subject to the road material and traffic conditions.
